LOS ANGELES, CA<\/strong> \u2014 Ashley<\/a>, the largest furniture store brand in North America, and Hope to Dream<\/a>, a non-profit organization committed to providing beds for children in need, partnered with El Nido Family Centers<\/a>, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families, to donate 200 beds to children throughout Los Angeles. This donation provided a critical sense of stability as communities continue to work toward recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception, Hope to Dream has helped more than 180,000 children receive better sleep through bed donations. The program continues to grow through a portion of proceeds from every mattress purchase at participating Ashley retail locations being donated to Hope to Dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Nido Family Centers\u2013who has been a champion of the Los Angeles community for over 100 years\u2013noticed an immediate need among service providers in the wake of the fires. Volunteers delivering beds were led to the most vulnerable, focusing on locations where these families live, visit, or seek support. The donation sites, and many others like them, serve as essential support hubs that provide families with access to social services, financial aid, and in this case, the much-needed comfort of a new bed for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One recipient was Esther Vega, a Pacoima resident who faces an uncertain financial future due to the wildfires. She lost her job as a housekeeper after her employer\u2019s home in Malibu burned down, and is now struggling to make ends meet as the rebuilding efforts begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe wildfires turned my world upside down in many ways, but the generosity we\u2019ve received from Ashley, Hope to Dream and El Nido has offered my family comfort, stability, and hope in a time when we needed it most,\u201d said Vega, who was joined by her daughter and grandchildren on-site. \u201cI\u2019m deeply grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration with El Nido Family Centers represents another step in Hope to Dream and Ashley\u2019s ongoing commitment to California communities. The donation follows Ashley’s recent response to the Los Angeles wildfires, where the company provided 250 mattresses to first responders and coordinated essential supply drives across the region.
